To our clients of Boston Veterinary Clinic:
We want to address the policies and procedures that we are implementing concerning the outbreak and spread of the novel Corona Virus, COVID-19. Our first concern is the health and safety of our clients, patients, doctor, and staff. We will continue to provide the expected high quality of veterinary care to our community while protecting our staff and clients.
If you are ill or experiencing ANY flu-like symptoms such as cough, fever, etc., have been in contact with someone who is ill, or have traveled/have contact history that increases your likelihood of contracting the virus, please consider rescheduling appointment(s) if your pet is not in need of urgent care (such as well visits, vaccinations, nail trims, etc.).
If your pet needs urgent medical care (i.e. sick visit), please try to arrange one of the following:
-Send your pet with a friend, neighbor, parent, relative, etc. to receive care.
-Participate in curbside services (see below ).
**The Boston Veterinary Clinic is offering Curbside Service to our clients who are ill, have had contact with someone who is ill, or who have a travel/contact history that increases the likelihood of illness. To participate in Curbside Service, please call us at (716) 941-5159 and notify a staff member when making your appointment that you would like to utilize our Curbside Service. Call us from your vehicle when you are in our parking lot, and we will send a staff member out to your vehicle, and deliver your pet back to you at the end of the visit. Any medical history can be obtained via phone call to limit the amount of person-to-person contact. We will be able to cash out appointments via phone if paid by credit card, or processed outside the building if using cash or check.**
We ask if you have been told to Self-Quarantine, or are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 7-14 days of your appointment, please call to notify us IMMEDIATELY.
As always, we will maintain our highest standard of care for your pets! As this is a dynamic situation that is ever changing, we will keep our clients posted to the best of our ability to any change of our policies and standards!
FOR ALL MEDICATION PICKUPS ONLY (not appointments):
We request that you try your best to call ahead before you pick up your medications, or let one of our employees know about when you will be picking up. If possible, we will be trying to process payment over the phone (if paying by credit card) to limit the amount of time spent in the clinic. If paying with cash or check- please try to have your payment ready when you pick up.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS A DYNAMIC SITUATION THAT IS EVER CHANGING. We will try to keep our clients and website updated as much as possible.
